Senna Leaves Powder (Cassia Angustifolia) for Blood Purifier
Cassia angustifolia is an Ayurvedic herb more popularly known as Senna. It is mainly used as a blood purifier, and strong laxative- for relieving constipation. It is also known as Swarna Patri in Sanskrit, meaning gold coloured leaves. It is mostly used in combination with warming, stimulating and antispasmodic herbs such as Ginger, Fennel, Cinnamon, and Coriander to prevent griping. Its laxative effects occur through two distinct mechanisms: an increase in intestinal fluid transport and an increase in intestinal motility.
